The author of Ender’s Game and the subsequent sequels wrote an interesting piece on problems with the global warming theory that you won’t see in the mainstream media. If Card wants any credibility with those he should be trying to convince, he should leave out statements in support of Bush.

I am subscribed to The Onion’s daily Onion Radio News podcast for a good laugh every day. Today’s story struck me as particularly funny. Of course, if you don’t know what The Onion is, you should go directly here and read a few of the recent stories. The headlines alone are usually worth reading but the Infographic, statistics and surveys are guaranteed to be hilarious.
The level of Battlestar nerdiness achieved by this car’s owner is close to uncomfortable. I’m not sure if I should be chagrined or jealous. Probably jealous.

USA Today is holding a contest to determine which state is home to the Simpsons. The winning Springfield will host the world premiere of The Simpsons Movie. As an Oregonian I can tell you that, without a doubt, Springfield is in Oregon. Watch the Oregon video and then vote for for Springfield, Oregon!
Yesterday I discovered a blog called Passive Aggressive Notes which is mostly an ongoing collection of passive-aggressive notes from co-workers, roommates and strangers. Some excellent examples are the refrigerator thief, the nose-picker, unwashed dishes and my favorite, the plea for bathroom hygiene.
Here’s another little time waster. Took me forever to get past level 6 but I made it to 8 so far.
Update 6/27: After Thane finished all 42 levels, I felt compelled to continue. I’m now up to Level 15.
Update 6/27, part II: While working Level 15, I couldn’t get the space bar to switch blocks so I started pressing other keys. Inadvertently, I clicked an advertisement link. When I backed up to the game, it sent me back to the beginning. I had not written down the codes for any levels. Waaaaah!
