Awhile ago Graham asked if he could have a blog, too. I said that he could but that he would have to write stuff for it. He had previously written a poem that I thought would be appropriate, but he lost it or left it at school or something. I created the blog anyway and was ready when he asked if I wanted to hear a story that he had written. “Do you want to put it on your blog?” I asked. “Sure,” he replied.

How well do you know the great guitar players of rock? Planet Rock has a Guitar Icons Quiz that shows 50 guitar players and asks you to name each of them. I only got 25, but I think I did pretty well. I only missed two that I think I should have had. How well can you do?
Storm sewers
Portland, like many cities, uses the sewer system to handle excess storm water runoff. Occasionally, this leads to the sewers overflowing into the Willamette River. Since this is bad and it rains fairly often here, the City of Portland embarked on a project nick-named “The Big Pipe”. So why am I telling you this? It’s a lead-up to explain why this incredible video at PAgent’s Progress is relevant.
